Hudson-Fulton Celebration Collection [graphic]. ca. 1909.

The Hudson-Fulton Celebration Collection spans the period circa 1909, and primarily contains paintings and photographs of parade floats from the celebration. There are two groups of large color paintings of parade floats, by Bror Anders Wikstrom, two groups of 8x10 monochromatic paintings of parade floats, as well as a series of copy photographs of the paintings. The collection also contains photographs of actual floats in parade, photographs of the replica Half-Moon of 1909, photographic portraits from the celebration, and views of buildings illuminated at night with electric light. Miscellaneous printed material in the collection includes a bond and affidavit for exhibition of the Half-Moon replica in the United States, a souvenir booklet, and a certificate of appreciation to General Stewart L. Woodford, President of the Hudson-Fulton Celebration Commission, from the Committee of Japanese Residents of New York.
